With its numerous benefits and its high levels of antioxidants, the acai berries are often called the best antioxidant. Experts have been telling us for years to consume berries simply because these fruits have antioxidants. We need antioxidants in order to protect our bodies from free radicals we usually get from the food that we eat or from the environment that we are exposed to.
